[Qr. haima, -atos = sdnge; [at. globus =g[o6; -ina; gr. pathos = cloata.} Termen generic, ce desem- neaza afectiuni ereditare, determinate de prezenta unor hemo- globine anormale la subiectii homo-, hetero- sau dublu hetero- zigoti. Uneori se constata persistenta hemoglobinei fetale (*tala- semie), alteori prezenta unor hemoglobine patologice (*drepano-citoza s. a.). Sin.: hemoglobinoza.
